Emora Limited, Nottingham’s direct sales and marketing specialists, have seen massive levels of success across recent campaigns. As such, Managing Director Lauren Harrison has arranged national business trips for the firm’s contractors to expand their skills sets and offer a range of opportunities.
Many of the firm’s contractors have travelled to Bournemouth, with the Managing Director herself travelling to Sheffield. The trips were organised for the company’s high performers to experience the sales and marketing sphere in a new environment. Harrison is eager for Emora Limited’s young professionals to gain experience in an area that differs from the norm, as she’s keen to continue their development in alternate cities.
In preparation for the national travel, Emora Limited has investigated what appeals to the millennial generation when on business travel, to ensure such trips remain useful and productive. In a company that boasts primarily millennial professionals, the firm is eager to tailor each business trip to the needs of their aspiring entrepreneurs.
A recent study by travel experts Expedia found that of 8,535 professionals surveyed, an amalgamation of Millennial and Generation Z professionals are found to travel more frequently on business over other generations, with a staggering 62% of these reportedly extending such trips for pleasure.
Emora Limited has detailed the importance of recognising areas in which can be improved in reference to business travel and their target demographic. The firm has identified that in less than ten years, the millennial generation will be the primary business market – making the majority of national and international travellers.
A research spokesperson for Expedia detailed the study referencing younger generations in the hopes of understanding professionals who are soon poised “to gain decision-making power within corporations and, as their careers rise, buying power in leisure travel.”
Emora Limited has gone from strength to strength in recent months and is eager to continue on their path to success. The firm has a number of further national trips planned for the remainder of 2018, with scope to provide further networking and development opportunities for their contractors.
